On-Call Clinical Research Nurse (LVN)

WCCT, a full service pharmaceutical contract research organization (CRO), has on-call opportunities available for entry level & experienced LVNs at our Cypress, CA facility.
The Clinical Research Nurse (LVN) performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, compilation, and documentation of clinical research data including but not limited to the following:
Performs and completes study procedures, including but not limited to IV insertion, Telemetry monitoring, etc.
Perform all forms of dosing, included but not limited to IV, IM, SQ and oral.
Accurately inputs subject information into facility data base. Ensures availability of study participant's information by accurately filing and/or retrieving study participant records in a timely manner.
Resolves queries in timely manner.
Follows proper safety and emergency policies and procedures as set forth by WCCT.
Follows all study and non-study regulations including, but not limited to Patient/Subject Privacy (HIPAA), OSHA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and department specific Work Instructions.
Assists with preparation and setup of work area for study procedures. Maintains assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. Follows proper safety and emergency policies and procedures as set forth by WCCT.
Required to work variable shifts including morning, midday, night and weekends.
May cross-train in other functional areas
May travels to other WCCT worksites within Southern California as needed.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications (include but are not limited to):
High School diploma and current LVN licensure is required. Previous experience as a LVN, Medical Assistant or Research Assistant in a research environment is preferred.
Current BLS certification is necessary. Plebotomy Technician License (CPT1) is preferred.
Must have the ability to work variable shifts including mornings, midday, nights, and/or weekends. Should have a demonstrated customer focus, effective organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Current BLS certification and Plebotomy Technician License (CPT1) are necessary.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
